From the dawn of the Louisiana Colony to the historic Orleans Ballroom and beyond, the contributions of the Indigenous, the Enslaved Africans, & the Gens de Couleur Libre (the Free People of Color) are world renown.

 

Join us for an exclusive journey into the history of the invisible people who contributed to every aspect of what became known as the city of la Nouvelle Orleans. South's first black owned newspaper. An abolitionist journal which promoted full citizen rights for men of African decent. It focused on voting rights, as well as issue confronting
