As a native born in New Orleans, I have always been attracted to the art, and architecture of the historic Vieux Carre’. As a child, I remember Sunday morning church service at St. Louis Cathedral followed by beignets and café au lait at Café du Monde afterwards.
I can still hear the sound of the Wild Man, and Spy Boy coming thru our neighborhood early on a Mardi Gras morning, and I’ve experienced many Second-line parades honoring local icons in our community on the weekends.
Over the past 3 centuries, the New Orleans African-Creole cultural influences have continued to grow & evolve. Tours by NOLA is designed to expose visitors to this rich cultural tapestry of New Orleans Local Artist… the Food… Music… Dance... Literature… Enterprise… and Hospitality.
